The Treatment Coordinator position at DOG Ortho will include the following responsibilities:
New Patient Experience (main responsibility):
- New patient calls
- Helping Insurance Coordinator to verify insurance benefits
- Reviewing and discussing treatment recommendations with parents/patients
- Presenting financial arrangements, and customizing payment plans using a software program to make it easy.
- Educate parents and patients about Braces and Invisalign treatment
- Scheduling appointments for new patients to start treatment
- Communicating and coordinating treatment with patient’s dentist and specialists
- Confirming appointments
- Welcoming new patients and giving office tours
- Taking orthodontic records including photos with a DSLR camera, digital x-rays, and iTero scans
- Collecting and reviewing informed consent forms
- Upload photos into imaging software
- Assist doctor during new patient exam by charting findings and documenting notes
- Drafting and sending letters (referrals, treatment) to dentists and specialists
- Following up with pending patients that are ready for treatment but did not schedule to start at the initial consultation
- Recording new patient data for analysis
- Tracking new patient conversion using Excel spreadsheets and/or other CRM software
- Run monthly reports and review goals with Practice Manager and Owner
- Virtual exams and consultations through video and/or email
Marketing:
- Facilitating relationships with pediatric and general dentists (referrers)
- Promoting internal office marketing
- Digital marketing (as needed)
- Tracking referral sources and reviewing reports with Practice Manager and Owner
Other responsibilities may include: Orthodontic Assisting (routine appointments), Basic Administrative duties (answering phones, scheduling, etc)
Requirements:
- 1 year orthodontic (or dental) experience required
- Competency in basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word
- X-Ray certification (required)
- Customer Service or Sales experience is a plus, but not required
Hours and Days:
- Full time (4 days/week)
- Must be willing to work at both locations: Southampton and Bensalem, PA
Pay:
- $23.00 - $29.00 per hour (based on experience and skill)
- Additional compensation: Performance bonus based on meeting growth goals of the practice (ie. Treatment Starts)
