What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Picker Packer - 2nd Shift position at Dorfman-Pacific Co.?
GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
To ensure the correct hat is pulled from inventory and properly packed for shipping according to customer orders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Read customer order (work ticket) accurately
Pull correct hat from inventory
Properly pack hat into hat box/shipping box
Print correct label and attach to outside of box
Deliver full order to Shipping Dock
Use of desk top computer for scanning and printing
Work independently and as a team, interpersonal skills
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES:
Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.
Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED, general education degree preferred: and 1-2 plus years related experience; OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Position relevant certifications a plus.

PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
Lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally 1-2 hours
Standing/Walking constantly 6-8 hours
Simple grasping constantly 6-8 hours
Reaching at or below shoulder level constantly 6-8 hours
Visual (look at computer screen) constantly 2-4 hours
WORK SCHEDULE/HOURS:
8 hours per day Monday through Friday with occasional evenings and weekends
Schedule is 2:30pm until 11:00pm Monday through Friday
