Dori Doors & Security, Inc. is a New York based, full-service door company specializing in custom residential, commercial and hospitality door projects in Manhattan and surrounding areas. We are seeking a full-time Junior Project Coordinator to join our South Bronx Office Team. This is an exciting entry-level opportunity for someone interested in building a career in project management. This position requires a five-day-a-week commute to our office in the South Bronx (Zip code 10454).

The Junior Project Coordinator will play a key role in supporting multiple facets of the business, working alongside the Project Managers, Field Operations Manager, and President to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and with the highest standards of quality. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to take on increasing responsibility while gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of project management.


Responsibilities:

• Assist in coordinating multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring each stay on track and meets deadlines.

• Coordinate and communicate effectively with vendors, clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.

• Support Project Managers, Field Operations Manager, and President in coordinating project schedules, tasks, and resources. • Communicate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to keep all parties informed and address project-related concerns.

• Coordinate and schedule regular site visits for Project Managers.

• Coordinate schedules for team of professionals, including subcontractors, engineers, and laborers.

• Manage Projects Calendar.

• Track project progress, monitor budgets, and identify risks, contributing to effective problem-solving.

• Maintain accurate project documentation and prepare regular reports for management and clients.

• Must be willing to multitask and prioritize.

• Collaborate across teams and provide administrative support where needed to ensure smooth project execution.

• Type and prepare proposals, contracts, change orders, and other office correspondence as necessary.


Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

• 2 years of experience in a similar role within the construction or manufacturing industry; experience with door installations is a plus.

• Strong ability to multitask, handle multiple projects, and thrive in a high-pressure environment.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in project management software tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and work efficiently under pressure.

• A proactive, self-motivated attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow within the field of project management.
