We are currently seeking a professional Yearbook Coordinator. This is primarily an in-person role and will be located in the Portland Metro area. Reporting to our Production Lead located in Nevada, the Yearbook Coordinator will oversee the production of nearly 200 yearbooks, managing communication and tracking in every stage—from onboarding advisers to design to proofing to finalizing the yearbooks for print.

Job Title: Yearbook Coordinator
Job Description: Act as the primary point of contact for all Dorian yearbook accounts in Oregon and Nevada; managing communication between your production lead, team of designers, photographers, and school yearbook advisers. Lead our schools in meeting their deadlines, selling more yearbooks, and in coordinating production with other yearbook staff. Work primarily from our Southwest Portland office, with local visits to K-12 schools to meet with advisers and yearbook staffers, with no requirement for out-of-state travel.
The job duties include but are not limited to:
Effective Communication: To communicate with Dorian advisers, school administrators, and production with timeliness, clarity, professionalism, and precision.
- Project & Workflow Management: Detail-oriented and organized—thrive on managing multiple projects. Be a self-driven, goal-orientated individual ready to challenge themselves in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment. Delegating design assignments. Partnering with our scheduling manager, scheduling software training, candid picture days, and specialty yearbook photography. Prioritizing tasks to meet all deadlines. Overseeing the development of each yearbook with initial design, cover deadlines, portrait flow, candid photography, proofing, and submission.
- Superior Customer Service: Providing continuous and timely support to our advisers, schools, parents, students, and teammates including response time under 24 hours. Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette, excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Accounting: Providing quotes for pricing based on Dorian guidelines, relaying deposit/final balance invoices, and communicating annual renewal agreements. Responsible for ensuring all yearbook balances are paid by invoicing due dates.Tracking invoices, deposits, yearbook costs, and online sales to work alongside our accounting team in processing and collecting yearbook payments.
- Productive Sales: Assisting schools with meeting their sales goals.
- Curriculum Development: Identify areas for curriculum development and marketing opportunities.
- Continuous Development: Assist in the professional development of our yearbook staff. Working to refine the process for panel flow, edits, page creation, proofing, and submission.
- Picture Day Event Support: Checking in with key accounts on Picture Days throughout the year as assigned. Assisting photographers, connecting with school admin, parent helpers, and more.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37 – 40 per week
