This individual is responsible for effectively promoting dormakaba’s entire North American portfolio of products, solutions and services to architectural firms, design build firms and government architects.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $83,000 - $95,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) What You Will Do
- Develop long term architectural customers by creating relationships that reflect the best interests of the architects’ clients.
- Ensure that the architectural firm’s library is fully up to date with dormakaba’s literature, technical documents, and relevant samples.
- Network within architectural firms to capture the following of additional Project Architects
- Develop key relationships with firms’ lead specification managers.
- Ensure completed specifications are being sent to sales teams for action
- Associate’s degree in construction management, architectural design, engineering, business, or a related field and 3 years of relevant experience; or High School Diploma/GED with 6 years of relevant experience
- Current CDT (Construction Documents Technologist) and DHC (Door Hardware Consultant) certifications or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external customers and stakeholders at varying levels
- Bachelor/Technical/Vocational school degree or equivalent
- 3 years’ experience in the door and hardware industry
- 1 years architectural sales experience
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Software (CRM) – Salesforce
- Current AHC (Architectural Hardware Consultant) certification and/or member Construction Specification Institute (CSI)
- Prior experience utilizing Sandler sales methodology
