Job Summary
Dayton Parts is seeking an Industrial Electrician to join our growing team in Durant, OK!
Shift : Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm
Primary Duties
Ensure operation of electrical systems and equipment, conveyors, programmable controllers, transformers, voltage regulators, and machinery wiring.
Following electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications, troubleshooting.
Responsible for performing preventive maintenance, and repairs of mainline equipment that supports the shearing, forging, heat treating and assembly processes in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Strong mechanical / electrical / electronic and technical aptitude.
Demonstrates understanding of pneumatics, mechanics, and electronic control systems.
Strong understanding of electrical systems and circuit diagrams (some programing (PLC and CNC controls) preferred)
Provide technical support including troubleshooting, machines repairs, PLC’s, adjustments, elimination of bottlenecks, machine set-up, changeover execution and running equipment as needed.
Coordinate and perform all maintenance activities (PM, work orders, improvement projects, etc.) to effectively balance maintenance and production needs.
Education / Experience
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in industrial maintenance or special machinery maintenance
3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
6 years of previous electrical experience.
High School diploma and / or associate degree or equivalent from a technical college in a related field.
