Job Summary
Dorman Products is seeking an entry-level engineer to join our Rotational Engineering Program, offering you the opportunity to gain real-world, hands-on experience with reverse engineering, metrology, test development and more. Based on your degree, experience, and interests, you'll embark on a path that both compliments and stretches your skills. As a Rotational Engineer, you will spend six months at a time rotating through the various areas of our engineering department to learn the various roles and gain an understanding of the skills, knowledge, and responsibilities required for each. At the end of each rotation, there will be a mini review to provide feedback and guidance, and after completing the two year program, a full evaluation will take place to identify an Engineering role within Dorman that best matches your skills, aspirations, and interests.
Modular rotations may be selected from the following areas :
- Metrology
- Lab Testing
- Product Engineering (Mechanical and Electrical)
- Mechanical Design and Additive Manufacturing
- Electronics & Software Design Engineering
- Test Development Engineering
- Manufacturing
This is a hybrid role in our corporate office in suburban Philadelphia (Colmar, PA) Monday through Thursday with the opportunity to work from home on Friday.

Education / Experience
Bachelors degree (BS) in engineering OR
Associates degree (AS) in engineering with two years' experience
