Dorn’s is looking for an experienced class A CDL driver for its Local transport division with Heavy Haul Experience only. Candidate must provide an excellent driving record, a proven job performance history and submit to random drug testing and physicals. The ideal candidate needs to have the following:

· Live within 45 miles of Mechanicsville VA

· Safely move High End vehicles and Heavy Haul equipment around Virginia.

· Excellent and professional communication skills

· Have some prior Towing (Both Large and Small) experience

· Already have a Class A CDL Drivers license

· Positive Attitude

· Attend training classes

· Excellent time management skills and ability to be on time

· Ability to work well within our culture.

· Strong written communication.

· Honesty and loyalty

· Initiative to move projects forward and meet deadlines.

We primarily work on high end collision damaged vehicles. We are certified with 30 OEMs from Audi to Tesla. Dorn’s has been in business satisfying clients for over 50 years, repairing vehicles back to OEM requirements. We will train the right person. We are an OEM Certified Collision Repair Location for both Aluminum and Steel. This position involved picking up and delivering high vehicles all over Virginia, along with Heavy Hauling (Lowboy) operations. As a Transport Driver Low Boy, you will be a vital part of our team, responsible for safely transporting heavy equipment and materials to various locations. With core skills in driving and commercial driving, you will operate tractor-trailers efficiently and effectively. Your premium skills in handling manual transmissions and specialized trailers like refrigerated and flatbed units will be essential for the job. Additionally, your relevant experience in delivery driving, forklift operation, and route driving will ensure successful transportation of goods.
