Job duties:
As DDPC’s newest Hospital Custodial Worker, you will be joining our team of support services employees working the 6:30a.m.-3:00p.m. shift Wednesday- Sunday. This is maintenance and personal services work in providing custodial services to buildings and grounds of a mental health hospital. Work includes delivering food carts, as well as cleaning residential and grounds areas including bedrooms, dayrooms, dining areas, bathrooms, corridors, and program areas. Additional responsibilities include shoveling, sanding, moving furniture, and escorting contractors to specific work locations with DDPC. Work requires considerable physical effort and exposure to patients with mental illnesses. Work is performed under general supervision.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in housekeeping and the physical capacity to perform a wide variety of custodial tasks.
