As we prepare for our upcoming location in Mason, Ohio, we’re hiring for key positions to begin training at our existing stores! This is a unique opportunity to get a head start, gain hands-on experience, and be a part of the foundation for our newest location. The DLM Cheese Shops are a destination on their own inside of our stores. In addition to our specialty, curated offerings, each shop has a mozzarella maker, hand producing fresh mozzarella daily on site. We are looking for an energetic person who is passionate about food and customer service to fill the role of our primary mozzarella maker at Mason.
What You’ll Do:
- Produce quality hand-stretched mozzarella
- Interact with customers and provide outstanding service
- Effectively manage inventory of fresh mozzarella
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- A desire to make folks happy by providing Honestly Better® Food and Service
- Food safety expertise
- Prior food service experience
- A willingness to learn about and taste great food
- A willingness to practice the DLM Team Values: Be Honest, Safe, Helpful, and Hard-Working
- Effective communication skills
- Basic mathematical skills
- 18 years old or older
- Holiday and weekend schedule availability
Physical Requirements:
- Standing for long periods of time
- Lifting up to 50 pounds
