What we need: We are looking for a committed, experienced construction leader to join our team in Utah. The Construction Project Manager oversees and manages daily project needs, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. This role involves coordinating with a team of automation technicians, subcontractors, and client Project Managers, to ensure the worksite runs smoothly. Preference will be given to those with Electrical and Mechanical experience, and local to Utah candidates that are in the Davis County area. Your responsibilities:

- Supervise daily construction sites, ensuring work is progressing as planned.
- Coordinate and monitor the activities of subcontractors, construction workers, and vendors. Lead site meetings to communicate updates, issues, and expectations.
- Investigating, processing, and submitting RFI's, Submittals, and other construction documents or correspondence to support execution of construction projects.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, codes, and industry standards.
- Monitor and enforce strict adherence to safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries on site.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments, making sure all equipment and tools are properly maintained and safe to use.
- Assist with scheduling and managing the work schedule to meet project deadlines.
- Requisition tools, equipment, and materials to be delivered at specified times to comply with work schedules.
- Track and report progress on the construction project, ensuring milestones are met.
- Monitor project costs and assist in controlling expenses to stay within budget.
- Prepares reports on progress, materials used and costs and adjusts work schedules as needed to meet schedule.
- Assist with the preparation of change order scopes, estimates and schedule coordination.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise on-site, whether technical, personnel-related, or material-related.
- Communicate effectively with the project manager and other stakeholders regarding project concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of work progress, work hours, material use, and safety incidents.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports to update project stakeholders on progress and any issues or delays.
- Provide guidance, training, and motivation to construction workers and teams.
- Promote a professional, positive, productive, and safety-conscious work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is a plus. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
- At least 5 years of experience in a construction supervisory role, with knowledge of construction processes, tools, and materials.
- OSHA 30 certification or other relevant safety training is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret project specifications and construction drawings.
- Proficient with using Microsoft 365 including Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, and Word.
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and quality control standards.
- Procore, Microsoft Project, or other Project Management applications.
- Experience using Visio, AutoCAD or SolidWorks not required but preferred.
- Team collaboration.
- Ability to work outdoor and potentially harsh weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and move materials (up to 50 pounds) and stand for long periods.
- Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding, and other means of egress necessary to inspect progress of the work.
- Travel to project sites with occasional overnight travel is required.
