What we need:
We are looking for a committed, experienced construction leader to join our team in Utah. The Construction Site Supervisor will oversee and manage all daily operations on the project construction site, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. This role involves supervising a team of automation engineers, technicians and subcontractors, coordinating with project managers, and ensuring the worksite runs smoothly.
Your responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations of the construction site, ensuring work is progressing as planned.
- Coordinate and monitor the activities of subcontractors, construction workers, and vendors.
- Lead site meetings to communicate updates, issues, and expectations.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, codes, and industry standards.
- Monitor and enforce strict adherence to safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries on site.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments, making sure all equipment and tools are properly maintained and safe to use.
- Assist with scheduling and managing the work schedule to meet project deadlines.
- Requisition tools, equipment, and materials to be delivered at specified times to comply with work schedules.
- Track and report progress on the construction project, ensuring milestones are met.
- Monitor project costs and assist in controlling expenses to stay within budget.
- Prepares reports on progress, materials used and costs and adjusts work schedules as needed to meet schedule.
- Assist with the preparation of change order scopes, estimates and schedule coordination.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise on-site, whether technical, personnel-related, or material-related.
- Communicate effectively with the project manager and other stakeholders regarding project concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of work progress, work hours, material use, and safety incidents.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports to update project stakeholders on progress and any issues or delays.
- Provide guidance, training, and motivation to construction workers and teams.
- Promote a positive, productive, and safety-conscious work environment.

- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is a plus. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a construction supervisory role, with knowledge of construction processes, tools, and materials.
- Certifications: OSHA 30 certification or other relevant safety training is highly desirable.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret project specifications and construction drawings.
- Proficient with construction management software, Microsoft 365 and project management tools.
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and quality control standards.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in outdoor and potentially harsh weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and move materials (up to 50 pounds) and stand for long periods.
- Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding, and other means of egress necessary to inspect progress of the work.
Travel requirements:
- Travel to project sites with occasional overnight travel is required.
