Education Requirements:
* Associate's degree, diploma, or certificate in HVAC/R or engineering from a post-secondary institution accredited by agencies recognized by the U.S. DOE;
* Minimum one year's teaching or field experience in the subject to be taught; or served a documented apprenticeship with a licensed HVAC/R journeyman;
* Certification from a recognized certification agency in the field taught must be obtained within 120 days of first day teaching class at Dorsey Schools and maintained according to the certification agency guidelines;
Work Environment:
The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, requiring strong organizational and communication skills. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit for extended periods of time; and have sufficient hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate a phone, computer keyboard, and other office equipment. Evening or weekend hours may be necessary to meet deadlines and meet with prospective students.
