Trial/Litigation Associate

Dorsey & Whitney LLP is seeking a Litigation Associate with at least three years of experience to join our Boise office. This associate will have the opportunity to work in all phases of litigation, from pleading through trial and appeal. Cases will cover a wide range of industries. The position would involve significant responsibility over pending cases, in-court experience, and motion-drafting and meaningful roles in evidentiary hearings and trials. Specifically, the associate will handle the following types of tasks for complex litigation matters:

• discovery
• oral advocacy
• brief writing
• depositions
• research
• trial preparation
• trial

Qualified candidates will have:

• A JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school
• At least three years of litigation experience
• Idaho bar admission, or the ability to become admitted in Idaho
• Excellent research and writing skills
• Strong communication skills
• Top academic credentials

Intellectual Property litigation experience preferred but not required.
