Purpose of Position: Responsible for taking new loan applications, credit checks, compilation of supporting papers and decision loans. Interview members applying for loans, develop good knowledge of sources of information. Must demonstrate insight and good judgment in determining credit worthiness, work quickly and advise branch/dealer of decision in a timely manner. Approve loans in accordance with established Credit Union policies and procedures.
Minimum Formal Education: Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, or accounting preferred or the equivalent combination of experience and education that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
Experience: Five or more years of credit union or financial institution in lending capacity highly preferred.
Other Requirements: Must be bondable.
