Purpose of Position: The Director of Consumer Lending will be responsible for managing & directing Consumer Lending teams. This position will oversee processes which consists of loan application underwriting, processing and booking, third-party vendor management, loan origination system configuration, and deploying internal credit risk controls, while allocating appropriate resources. The Director of Consumer Lending will ensure service directives are met while working to uncover additional opportunities to improve service to our internal and external members. This position will also assist the Chief Lending Officer with planning and strategic initiatives.
Minimum Formal Education: Bachelor’s Degree required.
Experience: Five years of management, preferrable in a credit union or financial institution in a Lending capacity.
