Responsibilities
A Dos Coyotes cashier/expediter is responsible for providing friendly, outstanding guest service. Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Ensure and provide an excellent guest experience
· Report to work as scheduled, on time, well-groomed and dressed in proper uniform.
· Greet, serve guests in a prompt, friendly, professional way.
· Demonstrate menu knowledge
· Take food and drink orders promptly and accurately. Check out guests at cash register.
· Pickup orders in window and deliver completed meals to correct guests in a timely manner.
· Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service, refill drinks, and take any additional orders.
· Handle guests’ complaints in a calm, courteous manner. Inform supervisor of any customer complaints or suggestions.
· Restock service areas.
· Keep service areas clean and complete all assigned cleaning tasks.
· Advise management of any personnel situations or policy violations having an adverse effect on restaurant operating performance.
· Respond quickly to sweeping and mopping up messes.
· Bus tables when needed.
· Maintains high knowledge regarding company's products, availability, specials, services offered, current & upcoming events, etc.; effectively communicates such to guests
· Serves as food quality inspector to ensure final product preparations align with company standards before delivering items to guests
· Delivers food items in a timely manner to ensure optimum food temperature when it reaches the guests
· Greets guests when approaching table and matches food items with the correct guests
· Completes all opening, running and closing duties as assigned
· Complies with uniform standards
· Perform any other tasks as assigned by management team.
· Ability to maintain proper attitude, professionalism, and teamwork in areas of guest service and restaurant operations.
· Ability to perform cleaning projects and tolerate cleaning solutions on a regular basis.
Requirements:
· Must be at least 21 years of age upon date of hire
· Reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills required.
· Able to respond quickly in an emergency situation to avoid imminent danger to self and others.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Front of House Staff will regularly stand, walk, talk, carry, bend, stoop, turn and lift in excess of thirty-five (35) pounds. Bartenders Must be able to stand and exert fast paced mobility for periods of up to 6 (six) hours in length.Qualifications
