*The sign-on bonus will be paid in two parts. The first half is paid after the 90-day probation period, and the second half after 6 months of employment. The employee must remain in good standing at all times.

General Manager

We are seeking energetic and motivated leaders to join our enthusiastic team! The General Manager will ensure efficient restaurant operations, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards. At Dos Olivos Market, we invite everyone to experience what a true marketplace can be. We strive to embrace our heritage by merging our European roots with old-fashioned Texas Hospitality. Our mission is to connect top producers of quality wines, beers, and gourmet foods with customers who are searching for unique and authentic experiences. The General Manager will ensure efficient restaurant operations in a positive work environment, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervising a day-to-day operation.
  • Maintain and manage retail inventory, ensuring stock levels meet demand and are always organized
  • Guide and motivate our service staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
  • Prepare reports, schedules, and other admin paperwork
  • Monitor inventory levels to meet guest demand.
  • Hire and onboard staff to ensure optimal staffing levels.
  • Ensure every customer feels welcome and receives exceptional, friendly service, enhancing their overall experience.
  • Drive company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance, and sanitation, striving for continuous improvement.
  • Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures
  • Understand and implement all company policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs
  • Consistently demonstrate and promote the company culture

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years restaurant/management experience in a full-service establishment
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of operations including food, beverage, staff supervision, food safety, service techniques, ordering, inventory, and guest interaction
  • Able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, and weekends and travel as needed for work-related functions.
  • Strong financial and cash handling skills
  • Knowledge of POS Systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills

Salary: $45,000 - $52,000 Base Pay plus uncapped monthly bonus
