General Position Summary:

• Packing items, prepping/padding furniture, loading/unloading trucks, and placing items in customer's homes while demonstrating exceptional service and professionalism - training is provided

Essential Functions:

• Provide excellent customer service by performing all responsibilities with care, attention to detail, and efficiency
• Properly wrap, pad, and carry client belongings safely to avoid damage
• Load items safely for transport, unload items safely to destination
• Give strict attention to client instruction for placement etc.
• Ensures trucks are cleaned, swept, restocked before starting each move.
• Understands, supports, and follows Crew Lead and Site Managers
• Conveys any client concerns immediately to the Crew Lead or Site Manager
• Willing to work year-round in all types of weather conditions
• Other duties as required

Requirements/Skills

• Physical strength and agility: Lifting, loading, and unloading heavy boxes, furniture, and appliances (up to 75 lbs or more) is required daily. Shoulder straps, hand trucks, dollies and other equipment are all provided to assist.
• Teamwork: Great communication skills, patience, a collaborative spirit, and ability to work effectively within a team are essential
• Customer Service: Our clients are sometimes under significant pressure, so the ability to remain professional, patient, and gracious in any circumstance is required
• No experience with moving required - training provided

*Great tips - up to $200-$400 a week
