About the DDM Fellowship Program:
The Dotdash Meredith Fellowship Program runs from June 2025 to May 2026. The program offers candidates the opportunity to gain experience working full-time in the office with some of our most popular brands. Fellows work full-time and earn $18/hr.
About the Team:
Our Birmingham, AL video production studio creates fast and creative food and recipe videos for brands like Food & Wine, Allrecipes, and EatingWell. We specialize in eye-catching, social-first videos that bring food to life. With a team of producers, food stylists, and editors, we produce engaging content that inspires audiences to cook, share, and enjoy.
Responsibilities Will include:
- Shooting and appearing in social food videos using an iPhone
- Researching and analyzing food trends and social media insights to inform video content
- Contributing content ideas for various brands and social media platforms
- Innovating and developing creative ideas for social food video programs and content
- Supporting content creation, including video production, assisting production staff, and creating call sheets
- Using project management tools such as Airtable to assist production workflow
About You:
Candidates for this role should have:
- A degree in social media, social marketing, or video.
- The ability to work independently, take initiative, and be goal-oriented and collaborative.
- Experience using iPhones and social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
- A passion for cooking and food!
