Description
Inspects all guestrooms following the completion of cleaning; is aware of cleanliness / maintenance standards, instructs room attendants to return and spot cleans or completes room cleaning as needed, and reports larger issues to the status clerk(s).
Requirements
Obtains daily list for room inspections and follows through. with inspecting all rooms assigned.
Uses inspection checklist for each room assigned.
Thoroughly inspects all rooms assigned for cleanliness and functionality.
Reports any noticeable maintenance / safety issues immediately to status clerk(s).
Upon completion of daily room inspections, report status change to status clerk(s).
Reports any issues / problems / items of note to the status clerk(s).
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High School Diploma, or equivalent.
At least one year of work experience.
At least 18 years of age.
Must be able to understand and speak English.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Ability to bend and lift up 35 lbs. and push up to 100 lbs., as needed.
Manual dexterity.
Work may be required in confined area.
Ability to be flexible with hours.
Good customer service skills.
Must be able to maneuver in Hotel areas, up and down stairs and teach above shoulder level.
