Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and ground maintenance.
- Repair and treat structures, including floors, sinks, walls, and roofs.
- Conduct minor troubleshooting and repairs on doors, cabinets, locks, shelves, and chairs.
- Change filters on AC/Heating units and connect, install, and service appliances.
- Report mechanical malfunctions to the appropriate party for repair.
- Move furniture and equipment at various facilities/sites.
- Assist in obtaining quotes and arranging for services of outside vendors.
- Update work logs for specific site requirements.
- Respond to alarm calls as assigned.
Requirements
- Troubleshooting ability.
- Knowledge of construction methods/tools and ability to do math and read blueprints.
- Working knowledge of repairing buildings/structures.
- Valid driver's license.
- Clean and current DMV printout.
- Currently possess or can obtain OSHA 10.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Effectively use a variety of hand and power tools.
- Follow oral and/or written instructions: maintain work logs.
- Ability to maintain a cooperative and effective working relationship with those contacted in the course of work assignments.
- Ability to bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
