- At least 21 years of age;
- Prior experience in customer service supervising staff who handle cash transactions and safeguard funds;
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact in a professional manner;
- Nice, friendly, and willing to work attitude;
- Possess excellent productivity, adaptability, self-drive, ownership and accountability, time management, focus;
- Ability to communicate precise and concise information to the right people at the appropriate time;
- Proficiency in the use of PC computer software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook);
- Gaming registration, other work cards may be required depending on jurisdiction;
- Capable of managing multiple business tasks, with strong judgment, organizational skills, and attention to detail;
- Ability to solve problems with minimal supervision and in a professional manner;
- Able to obtain any regulatory licenses or certifications in appropriate jurisdiction(s) ;
- Valid Nevada driver’s license, reliable transportation, vehicle insurance, clean driving record;
- Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays when required;
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend and lift up to 25 pounds.
Job Responsibilities:
- Verify funds/accept keys prior to shift, complete store inspections;
- Contact dispatch when appropriate; contact Assistant Managers for any issues that appear concerning;
- Contact 911 for emergencies; ensure bartenders office is locked;
- Train and supervise bartenders, report FMLA call outs to HR;
- Create/maintain bartender schedule;
- Complete cash/electronic transactions;
- Inform guests that food and drinks are available, ensure food is rotated;
- Ensure registered paid gaming payouts are accurate;
- Redeem marketing coupons, offer players card to unrated players;
- Understand promotions and communicate them to guests, understand how to troubleshoot machines;
- Maintain overall tavern cleanliness, remove trash; verify store cleanliness and safety;
- Process ticket redemptions, process jackpots with appropriate ID and withhold tax as required;
- Understand company comp policy, maintain company policy for guest alcohol consumption;
- Maintain confidentially with all information;
- Approve jackpot payouts, address customer concerns/disputes;
- Confirm F&B deposit funds, prepare bank deposit slips, perform store inventories;
- Generate F&B orders, generate supply orders, review product orders from warehouse;
- Load dispenser funds at unscheduled times, complete e-drops, complete pre-drop;
- Ensure safety programs are properly implemented;
- Record progressive log readings, ensure displays are in accordance with company guidelines;
- Resolve gaming disputes and guest calls, complete all regulatory requests;
- Ensure that displayed licenses are current;
- Report employee and guest injuries;
- Coordinate new store openings;
- Ensure compliance programs are properly implemented;
- Investigate employee performance issues; issue corrective action;
- Complete payroll; hire and staff locations; maintain sufficient on-call (floater staff);
- Coordinate remodels;
- Review reports - waste reports, comp reports, sales reports, overtime reports;
- Verify Solar Winds tickets;
- Monitor impress and ATM balances and adjust to business levels;
- Identify competitor pricing trends;
- Set par levels for inventory;
- Perform follow up on audit investigations and security requests;
- Verify Kronos checklist completion for team members;
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
