Parts Counter Associate

Double A Utility Trailer Sales, Inc. is looking for a hard-working individual who offers exceptional customer service, and thrives in a fast pace work environment to join their team as a Parts Counter Associate.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

Essential Duties:

• Assist customers in determining parts needed.
• Identify parts by utilizing electronic, internet-based parts catalog, paper catalogs, and parts manuals.
• Provide price quotes and availability of product for external and internal stakeholders.
• Assist customers via phone, email, and walk-in at the counter.
• Effectively communicate information to customers so they get the right part to fulfill their needs.
• Pull and pack orders for customer pick up or delivery.
• Assist with inventory and processing of incoming stock.
• Assist outside parts salesman with quotes and availability for their customers.
• Continually grow knowledge of products essential to the trucking industry.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of Transportation Industry experience
• Ability to lift 50 lbs independently
• Clean Driving Record
• Must be highly focused on providing industry-leading customer service experience.
• Parts knowledge is helpful
• Work well with all levels within the organization.
• Knowledge of proper phone and email etiquette.
• Self-motivated, willing to learn and grow with the company.
• Strong communication skills.
• Basic math and reading skills to perform job tasks and complete necessary paperwork.
• Ability to follow oral and/or written instructions.
• We are looking for individuals who are reliable, punctual, and safety-minded, with a strong work ethic.
• It is also important that you display a positive, helpful demeanor, and a commitment to providing the best customer service.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour based on experience
