We are seeking reliable and energetic individuals to join our team as Weekend Farmers Market Driver and Sales Associate. This role requires driving to/from the kitchen and farmers markets, market booth setup and breakdown, and sales duties on Saturdays from 7am to 3pm. The key responsibilities include:
Job Requirements:
- Consistent availability on Saturdays from 7am to 3pm
- Comfortable driving a Ford Transit van, valid driver's license, and clean driving record
- Be able to lift 50lbs for farmers market booth set up and break down
- Sales experience is strongly recommended
- Most importantly, punctuality and reliability are essential
Compensation: $20/h TIPS which can bring it up to $200 or even more per day! This job is great for those looking to boost weekly income while having afternoons and nights off.
Schedule: Saturday 7AM- 3PM
Farmers Market Sales Associate responsibilities and duties includes but are not limited to:
- Driving to and from the farmers markets, central kitchen, and surrounding areas as needed
- Setting up the farmers market booth (canopy, tables, food displays, banners, etc.)
- Calling each and every customer who passes to the booth for samples (sampling is a very important part of the job)
- Selling our hummus, salads and chips
- Ensure customers have a positive experience with you at our booth
- Count the leftovers and complete a sales checkout form
- Once the farmers market is completed, break down everything and load the van
- Drive van back to kitchen and drop off leftovers
