We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Manager to lead our bar operations in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, with a passion for providing exceptional customer experiences. As the Bar Manager, you will oversee all aspects of bar management, including staff supervision, inventory control, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Your leadership will be crucial in creating a vibrant atmosphere that enhances our guests' enjoyment.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and train bar staff to ensure high standards of service and efficiency.
Manage daily bar operations, including inventory management and ordering supplies.
Develop and implement innovative drink menus that align with current trends.
Monitor and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with the kitchen management team to ensure seamless service during busy periods
Create and manage budgets for bar operations, analyzing financial performance regularly.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
Organize special events and banquets, coordinating with other departments as needed.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Hospitality or F & B management experience, preferably within a gaming environment. Experience supervising employees in Bar operations. Experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure. Experience problem solving, organizing and prioritizing work.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Equivalent in education and experience. Two to three years of recent and related hospitality or Bar experience, including one (1) year of managerial experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Demonstrated effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills using English.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or picture form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: A valid Colorado Drivers License.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Essential duties may involve performing physical exertion: frequent brisk walking, climbing stairs, stooping, bending, stretching, reaching, kneeling, squatting, bending, walking and crouching/stooping, pushing and standing for an entire work shift, with standard breaks, in order to perform duties. Essential duties may involve working in a small, confined area used to prepare food, with floors, which may become slippery in the process of preparing food and beverages. Essential duties require lifting up to 30 pounds to stack, store or move kitchen, restaurant or general office supplies and equipment. Essential duties also involve sitting while completing paperwork or using a computer, and a flexible work week with additional hours routinely required.
