Job Description
Our busy Pizza restaurant is looking for a Cashier who is hardworking, honest, and responsible with a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and greet all guests with a positive attitude.
- Help manage all FOH operations and guest services.
- Ensure the restaurant’s standards of quality and service are maintained.
- Perform Opening and Closing Procedures and cash-handling operations.
- Identify operational opportunities to build sales, control costs, and assists in developing and implementing plans to address opportunities.
- Serve as Front of House Liaison with Back of House.
- Answer incoming calls and address customer queries.
- Clean host area and assist with restaurant cleanliness.
- Satisfy guest complaints promptly, politely, and quietly.
- Able to work in a high-volume environment.
- Positive attitude with the ability to motivate, educate, and develop the staff
- Have a strong work ethic and be teamwork oriented.
- Excellent communication skills (via phone, written, and in-person).
- Previous work experience as lead cashier, assistant manager, manager, or general manager experience highly preferred.
- Ability to help in the kitchen would be a plus!
Skills:
- 3 Years Experience as Cashier in a restaurant environment preferred.
- Computer Literacy and familiar with using FoodTec or similar Point of Sale system.
- Demonstrable customer service and management skills.
- Social Media Management Experience a plus.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Maintain a clean reception and dining area.
- Understanding of restaurant etiquette.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
- Availability to work in shifts as needed.
- Good physical condition to walk and stand during an entire shift.
- Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Have or obtain a TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol certificate immediately upon hiring.
- Have or obtain a ServSafe Food Handler Certificate immediately upon hiring.
- Have or obtain an Allergen and Choke Save Certificates immediately upon hiring.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
