Location - onsite at our Chicago, Elmhurst, and Burr Ridge locations.
The Senior Manager, Talent Management is responsible for applying a consulting approach to support key Human Resource and business partnerships as well as support enterprise talent development programs. The role will focus on the design and development of talent programs from on-boarding through off-boarding that align with the business strategy and drive value-add results to improve organizational effectiveness and employee performance. This includes onboarding, recognition, engagement, performance management, learning and leadership development, and talent review and succession planning. The role will serve in close partnership with Human Resource Business Partners and company leadership. We are looking for a leader with proven best-in-class program processes within a high-growth organization, that includes both exempt and non-exempt workforce, with the capability to quantify impact.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive portfolio of employee lifecycle programs and processes (from onboarding through off-boarding) that align with the business strategy, organizational goals, and culture.
- Identify critical areas of focus to improve performance effectiveness across the company, and build programs to address gaps.
- Build program infrastructure for repeatable Employee Experience processes and thought partnership
- Design and implement new and enhanced talent development programs to grow leaders, skills, capabilities, and careers.
- Build on a successful launch of a new Learning & Development program by developing strategies to empower and enhance leaders capabilities.
- Work collaboratively with business partners to get buy-in for the successful adoption of all initiatives.
- Develop organization-wide talent programs and events end-to-end; focus on planning, readiness, enablement, and delivery excellence for a seamless employee experience.
- Develop programs, tools, materials, and learning initiatives to enable readiness, manage change, create adoption, and instill ownership across the company.
- Ensure a clear communication strategy is set for any talent programs or products.
- Ensure the talent management programs and products seamlessly integrate into HR technology, tools, and practices, including the HRIS and people support functions.
- Support other activities as required
Required Education and Experience:
- 10 years of experience in human resources management, business administration, or a related field within a Manufacturing environment
- 10 years of experience in creating and implementing talent programs including onboarding, recognition, engagement, leadership development, learning, and succession planning
- 5 years of interacting with senior-level clients with expertise in change management and building change plans for company initiatives.
- Engaging in written communication along with clear and concise verbal communication skills. Comfortable in front of a room leading sessions.
- Experience developing and implementing programs, processes, and capabilities to support successful scaling in a high-growth manufacturing organization.
- Customer service orientation with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations – the ability to serve multiple customers and deliver an excellent employee experience.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while consistently delivering high-quality results.
- Excellent project management and relationship management skills, with a keen ability to work collaboratively and develop trust.
- Advanced interpersonal, listening, and communication skills, and a track record of effectively communicating with and influencing at all levels
- Strong understanding of HR disciplines and programs
- Experience building a culture of high team member engagement and satisfaction
- Metrics-driven with a history of using data to inform decision-making
- History of capability and willingness to maintain confidentiality and ability to serve as a trusted confidant to all team members
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- PHR certification is a plus
- Experience working with Rippling, Workday, or UKG is a plus

Base Pay range for this position:
- $130,000 - $182,000 annually
- Target Annual Reward Plan (ARP): Bonus paid at 20% (% of Annualized Base Pay, paid quarterly)
The final discretionary compensation that will be offered for this role depends on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.
