What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plasterer Foreman position at Double L Management?
Legacy Finishing Systems is looking to expand its team with experienced foreman plasterers.
- LOCATION - no home base, you go where the jobs are - requires travel around the Dayton, Columbus, and Cincinnati areas.
- Candidates must have reliable transportation!
- No background check required.
- Must pass drug screen.
- Must be authorized to work in the US. Legacy participates in E-Verify.
- Must have high school diploma or GED
- Must join union.
- PREFERRED - Hawk and trowel knowledge
- PREFERRED - Experience with plaster
- PREFERRED - Knowledge of plaster mixing
Job Description:
- Apply coats of plaster to walls, ceilings, or partitions of buildings, using trowels, brushes, or spray guns
- Set up scaffolds
- Apply weatherproof, decorative coverings to exterior surfaces of buildings, such as by troweling or spraying on coats of stucco.
- Clean and prepare surfaces for applications of plaster, cement, stucco, or similar materials, such as by drywall taping.
- Mix substances or compounds needed for work activities.
- Mold or install ornamental plaster pieces, panels, or trim.
- Other duties as assigned by foreman.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly and up to 75 lbs. occasionally. Ability to climb ladders and work in tight spaces as needed.
- Basic hand tool knowledge
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers quickly and accurately
