What are the responsibilities and job description for the Store Support Clerk - Level 1 Help Desk position at Double Quick?
This is an internal search position. Applicants outside of the company, will not be considered for this position at this time.
This position is responsible for working directly with Store Employees and assisting them by phone with questions regarding all store technology, store maintenance, Dashboard Advantage, Fuel, reporting and daily paperwork. This position also is an on-call position and will require the employee to answer calls after normal business hours and to go to stores after hours to repair or replace broken equipment. Other duties and responsibilities could be added as assigned by the Store Support Manager.
Accept and record in appropriate software all Service Calls.
Classify Service calls according to specified options
Execute 1st attempt to solve the Service Call.
Escalate the Service Call to the appropriate department when 1st Level Support resolution is not possible
Track the progress of an owned Service Call during the entire lifecycle (from start to end) to ensure it is resolved.
Escalate to appropriate management when service levels are not met.
Demonstrate a “Customer Service Starts With Me” attitude to insure operations and store employees are supported at the highest level
Minimum Position Qualifications
A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
Ability to take initiative and demonstrate ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team at store, area and corporate levels
Strong communications skills including written and verbal
Able to articulate and speak with a clear voice
Diplomatic and must have interpersonal skills
Team Player
Able to understand and accept that Store Issues affect business and customer service and must be resolved quickly. Without Double Quick Stores and Customers there would not be a Store Support department.
Superior attention to detail and accuracy
Aptitude to learn how to replace hardware in a fast paced retail environment
Desired Education/Job Experience
Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
Experienced with all Double Quick store technology including Palm POS, MWS Store, Auditor, Hand Held , CAO, Phone Cards, Money Orders and ATM’s
Proficient in Microsoft Office
A successful candidate will be self-motivated and will be able to thrive in a fast pace environment
