The Refrigeration Technician will work independently and collaboratively to provide high-quality service.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot refrigeration systems, focusing on ammonia refrigeration units.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on various refrigeration appliances and equipment.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and schematics to assess system functionality.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.
- Weld and fabricate components as necessary for repairs or modifications.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.
- Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address mechanical issues related to refrigeration systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician in refrigeration or related fields.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems.
- Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and reading schematics.
- Experience in appliance repair, welding, and general property maintenance is a plus.
- Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license may be required for travel

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
