Double Time Coffee Co. is looking for a motivated and experience leader to become our next cafe manager at Fort Leonard Wood, MO!
Position Title: Manager
Compensation: Starting at $18/hr, plus tips when scheduled as a barista
Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:00pm (can be 8 hour or 6 hour shifts)
- 25-30 hours/week
- Ability to coordinate one off day/week
- Maximum hours/week not to exceed 40 hours without express permission
Requirements:
- Able to meet schedule requirements
- Intends and able to stay in position for at least 1 year from hire
- Previous food service and/or management experience
- Non-Compete Agreement signed
- Non-Disclosure Agreement signed
- Up to date ServSafe Food Manager certification, completed within the first 90 days of hire. Double Time Coffee Co will reimburse the cost of the ServSafe Food Handler Online Course and Assessment ($179) once the employee has passed the test. - Coffee Owner’s Skill Camp at Workbench Coffee Labs in Kansas City, Missouri. Employee will receive their standard hourly rate during class hours. Cost of the course will be covered by Double Time Coffee Co, as well as travel reimbursement, lodging, and meal expenses ($50 /day).
- Coffee Fest or Specialty Coffee Association Expo (location varies): Must complete Owner’s Skill Camp at Workbench Coffee before becoming eligible for this opportunity. Employee will receive their standard hourly rate during class hours. Cost of the course will be covered by Double Time Coffee Co, as well as travel reimbursement, lodging, and meal expenses ($50 /day).
- Mileage Reimbursement ($0.60 /mile) for authorized work travel if necessary

Responsibilities:
- Manage daily staff and location operations. Make on the spot corrections as needed and notify owners when disciplinary action should be taken.
- Promote a professional and supportive work environment in accordance with Double Time Coffee Co’s values and Code of Conduct.
- Manage employee scheduling.
- Coordinate to fill emergency employee and supply shortages.
- Coordinate with AAFES and building managers as needed. Copy flw@doubletimecoffee.com on any communications.
- Maintain a clear and consistent line of communication with owners.
- Uphold food safety standards.
- Support production of social media content to increase brand awareness.
- Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies on-site from storage stocks.
- Receiving shipments and organize backstock storage areas.
- Manage weekly ordering of inventory and supplies.
- Ensure equipment and shop area are maintained in accordance with opening/closing checklists.
- Lead the training of new employees.
- Cash handling, verifying cashbox logs, making timely deposits and change as needed.
- Assisting in hiring and interviewing potential candidates.
- Community outreach (sampling, interacting with community stakeholders, attending events)
- Other duties and responsibilities may be discussed and assigned as needed.
