Description
The Client Reporting Analyst will support the client reporting process primarily for DoubleLine’s separately managed accounts, sub-advised accounts, offshore funds, and private funds. The role will also involve supporting additional Client Reporting and Performance Team functions including performance, GIPS, and account setup and maintenance.
Job Functions
- Produce and validate standard and custom reporting for DoubleLine clients and investors.
- Produce reports for various internal stakeholders.
- Respond to ad hoc requests by clients and other internal departments.
- Assist with DoubleLine’s compliance with the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS), including the annual verification and composite maintenance throughout the year.
- Work with DoubleLine’s Information Technology team to refine reporting and performance related automation, as necessary.
- Help with the maintenance of well-documented processes, procedures, and meeting minutes and notes.
- Provide secondary coverage for additional functions including, but not limited to: operational account setup and maintenance and performance-related tasks and validation.
- Assist with other team, department, and firm-level projects and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2 years of experience in the investment management field preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required or working knowledge with willingness to complete additional training.
- Basic knowledge of portfolio accounting and fixed income instruments preferred.
- Strong client service mentality, initiative, and work ethic.
- Analytical skills and the ability to identify problems and offer solutions.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
- Team-oriented but able to work independently with appropriate guidance in a deadline-driven environment.
- Able to communicate – verbally and in writing – in a clear manner that others can understand.
