Job Summary
The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a full service hotel establishment, ensuring a high level of service, quality, and profitability. The General Manager will work closely with department heads and staff to drive business success while upholding our brand values.
Responsibilities
- Staff management: Hire, train, and evaluate staff performance
- Financial management: Create budgets, track revenue, and control costs
- Guest satisfaction: Set service standards, resolve guest complaints, and ensure guests have a great experience
- Marketing: Promote the hotel to its target market
- Hotel operations: Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including purchasing, payroll, and security
- Communication: Communicate with staff and department heads to address issues and assess progress
- Policy and procedure compliance: Ensure all staff comply with hotel policies and procedures
- Strategic goals: Identify strategic goals for the hotel and communicate their importance to staff
