Hotel Chief Engineer

• Overseeing all maintenance operations, including preventive maintenance, repairs, and replacements 
• Scheduling: Creating and prioritizing maintenance schedules 
• Supervising and delegating tasks to the maintenance team 
• Leading the installation of new equipment 
• Keeping proper records for inspections and audits 
• Ensuring there is enough inventory for reactive work orders 
• Performing daily and weekly property inspections 
• Providing training and mentorship to the engineering department 
• Responding to guest maintenance requests 
• Building good relationships with internal and external customers 
• Setting short-term and long-term project goals 
• Negotiating with clients and vendors 
• Compiling reports for the board of directors

• Prior hotel engineering experience required
• Hotel engineering supervisory experience
• Strong understanding of PM Programs
• Technical understanding of HVAC, MEP, and Carpentry
