Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Banquet Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an exceptional dining experience during events and banquets. This position requires a passion for hospitality, excellent guest service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Provide outstanding guest services by anticipating needs and responding promptly to requests.
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table settings and decorations.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Assist with food preparation and ensure proper food handling practices are followed.
- Clear tables and maintain cleanliness throughout the event space.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service flow.
- Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests; always maintain positive guest relations.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies in the restaurant and banquet settings.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts, as required to meet the needs as required by event schedules.
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, particularly in banquet or restaurant settings.
- Strong guest service skills with an emphasis on helping others and creating memorable experiences.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and culinary basics is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and interpersonal.
- Bartending experience is a nice-to-have but not mandatory.
