Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Night Auditor to join our team. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions and providing exceptional guest service during the overnight shift. Schedule: Overnight Shift (unless business dictates differently)
Sunday - Thursday 11PM-7AM
Responsibilities
- Conduct night audit procedures to reconcile daily guest accounts and ensure accuracy
- Verify and balance entries and records of financial transactions
- Prepare reports summarizing financial data for management review
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting guests with check-in/check-out processes
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to enhance guest experience
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations during the overnight shift
- Follow all safety and security protocols to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff
Experience
- Previous experience in front desk or guest services roles preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Familiarity with phone systems and hotel reservation software is a plus
- Knowledge of night audit procedures and hotel operations is desirable
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions
