Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily operations of the housekeeping department
- Train and supervise housekeeping staff and assigning tasks
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and adherence to standards
- Assist Manager in maintaining the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and order as needed
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient guest service
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints regarding housekeeping services
- Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing feedback and coaching as necessary
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality housekeeping management preferred
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Detail-oriented with a focus on cleanliness and quality control
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
