Catering Sales Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Catering to lead our catering operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of exceptional culinary experiences for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service management, with a passion for fine dining and a commitment to excellence. As the Director of Catering, you will oversee all aspects of catering events, from planning and execution to staff management and client relations.

Duties

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, corporate accounts, and event planners to generate new business opportunities.
• Manage all catering operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials, social media campaigns, and event advertisements to increase awareness.
• Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels.
• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to promote the catering services, maximizing sales and market presence.
• Oversee the venue booking process, including availability management, negotiations, and event logistics.
• Work closely with clients to understand their specific requirements and customize the venue layout and services to meet their needs.
• Conduct regular evaluations of catering services to identify areas for improvement.
• Manage venue operations to ensure the space is prepared for events, including setup, breakdown, and all technical and culinary requirements.
• Coordinate all event details, including food and beverage service, décor, audiovisual needs, and special requests.

Experience

• Proven experience in kitchen management, preferably within a fine dining or high-volume food service environment.
• Strong background in food service management, including supervising staff and managing shifts effectively.
• Demonstrated expertise in restaurant management principles, including food preparation techniques and inventory control.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with clients, staff, and vendors.
• A passion for the food industry with a keen eye for detail in presentation and service standards.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Every weekend
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Weekends as needed

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)
• Night Shift (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

Ability to Relocate:
