JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking dedicated Restaurant Servers to join our team. As a Server, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and enhancing the dining experience for our guests.
JOB FUNCTIONS
-Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting menu items
-Do all necessary set-up side work as assigned.
-Answer any guest questions about the menu.
-Operate the electronic cash register/P.O.S. system (where applicable).
-Check food before serving it to guest to ascertain that appearance, temperature and portions are correct.
-Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
-Must have the ability to communicate in English.
-Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
-Excellent customer service skills a must.
-Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
-Must communicate well with guests.
-Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player.
-Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing and/or walking. Ability to lift at least 30 lbs.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have previous experience in the food service industry preferrably in hotel setting
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines and procedures
- Familiarity with basic food preparation techniques
- Proficiency in using POS systems and cash registers
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong math skills for handling transactions accurately
