Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing an exceptional dining experience. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have a memorable experience. Your ability to collaborate with kitchen staff and effectively upsell menu items will be key to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, including Aloha POS, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
• Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring that all items are presented in an appealing manner.
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area by sanitizing surfaces and utensils as needed.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales through collaboration with guests.
• Handle cash register transactions accurately, processing payments efficiently while providing change as necessary.
• Address any guest inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a server or customer service role is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members.
• Familiarity with culinary terms and practices is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting trays or bussing tables.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices is essential for maintaining a clean work environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
