Job Summary:
As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm welcome and delivering a high level of service throughout their stay. You will be responsible for performing check-in and check-out processes, managing guest requests, and ensuring an efficient flow of communication with other departments to meet guest needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Experience: Greet guests with a warm smile and positive attitude. Provide a seamless check-in and check-out process, and assist guests with any inquiries or special requests.
- Reservations Management: Handle room reservations and cancellations accurately. Offer room upgrades and amenities to enhance the guest experience.
- Problem Resolution: Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and ensure follow-up to resolve issues to guest satisfaction. Escalate unresolved matters to the appropriate department if necessary.
- Communication and Coordination: Liaise with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest requests are fulfilled and room status is accurate.
- Billing and Financial Accuracy: Process payments, post charges, and verify guest accounts for accuracy. Maintain complete knowledge of daily hotel rates, promotions, and packages.
- Brand Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with Hilton brand standards, providing exceptional service and attention to detail in all guest interactions.
- Digital Key and Technology Use: Promote the use of Hilton’s Digital Key technology to guests and assist them with troubleshooting when needed.
- Team Collaboration: Contribute to a positive work environment by assisting colleagues, participating in team meetings, and supporting departmental goals.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred. Familiarity with Hilton property management systems is a plus.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask and handle guest interactions with professionalism.
- Availability: Flexible schedule with the ability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
