What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Night Auditor position at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Flagstaff?
We are looking for a reliable Night Auditor associate to work 3 shifts a week. We are willing to vary the length of the shift based on employee preference. We are open for additional pay compensation based on the experience of the applicant. The Night Auditor will be the face of the hotel and serve as our guests’ first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation. Applicant must be a great communicator, will be responsible for closing the nightly business for the hotel and F&B outlets. Responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations and providing information about rooms, rates and amenities. Customer service skills are a must, as well as the ability to think on your feet. Auditor will be charge of balance our Accounting sheet by the entry of revenues, payments, and misc. postings from the property management system reports.
Responsibilities
- Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
- Manage online and phone reservations
- Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
- Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)
- Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
- Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
- Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Closing out the revenue outlets on a nightly basis
- Balancing Daily sheet to account for revenues, payments, and debits nightly. This would involve utilizing our M3 Accounting system.
- Become familiar with reading the Oracle Micros Point of Sales system reports. We currently use the Micros system in our restaurants.
- Become familiar with the working order of hotel facilities such as fire alarm panel, security cameras, & lighting.
Skills
- Accounting experience is a plus. We will train.
- Experience with hotel reservations software, like OnQ, Saflok, Word applications
- Customer service attitude
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
