What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Runner position at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Orlando Airport?
The DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando Airport is currently hiring for AM Food Runner/Busser!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Maintains table settings by removing finished courses and replenishing utensils as necessary.
- Supports serving staff and kitchen by assisting them with delivery of food and retrieval of any supplies they may require.
- Transport all dirty tableware to dishwashing area.
- Respond appropriately to guest requests, communicating requests to serving staff or handling request him/herself as needed.
- Set up the expedition area at beginning of every shift, breakdown at the end of the shift.
- Delivers condiments and refills to table.
- Support serving staff/ Manager on duty with any other request.
Requirements
- Previous Food & Beverage experience in a casual dining restaurant preferred, but not required.
- Ability to lift and/or move twenty or more pounds regularly required.
- Must have strong hospitality skills and communication skills to be able to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner in order to provide a high degree of service.
