Position Description
APPLICANT MUST BE ALBE TO WORK NIGHT AUDIT (11 PM - 7AM) Full time availability on alternate shifts.
Position Title: Part Time Night Auditor
Reports To: Front Office Supervisor & Manager
What you will be doing:
A night auditor provides excellent customer service to guests and keeps the front desk and accounting operations running smoothly at night. They assist guests with their overnight requests and balance accounts leftover from the day shift. A night auditor handles late night check-ins, manages guest requests and accepts reservations.
- Greet guests upon Arrival, check them in and provide them with any information they need to enjoy their stay
- Audit and balance reports from the day shifts
- Schedule guest wake-up calls and reservations for the following day
- Verify that all EOD work has been performed by other departments
- Respond to guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints as needed
- Answer phones and place reservations
- Run EOD computer functions so they are complete by the end of the shift
- Prepare guest bills for next-day checkouts
- Balance cash drawers and record receipts
- Keep lobby market and sundry area stocked and inventory completed EOM
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Technical Service Skills- Demonstrate computer knowledge such as searching internet and basic functions. Knowledge of Opera Reservation Systems a plus but will train the right person.
- Point of Sale Skills- Knowledge of hotel room types, rates, packages and services to offer guests the best accommodations to satisfy their hotel needs.
- Reservation Process Skills- Understand the reservation process and applying those skills to assist guests with maximum customer service.
