JOB SUMMARY

DoubleTree by Hilton Milwaukee Downtown is searching for an Assistant Chief Engineer to join its 5-time Connie Award winning team. The Assistant Chief Engineer will help to create these exceptional experiences for our hotel guests by maintaining a clean, comfortable and inviting environment. This position will assist in leading a team of five maintenance technicians primarily for general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting space, and front of the house areas. The Assistant Director will also perform repairs on HVAC, cooling tower, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, kitchen, and laundry equipment, requiring skills and experience in these areas, as well as good communication skills.

A minimum of three years of building maintenance experience is required, with hotel experience preferred.

Common interior guest area duties might include but are not limited to:

• Paint walls, ceilings, doors and window trim, as needed
• Lighting
• Plumbing
• HVAC
• Doors and locks

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
