EXAMPLES OF DUTIES
- Shipping & Receiving of hotel products.
- Maintain stock inventories of utensils, china, glassware, and linen as required for peak business operation.
- Assist in developing stock inventory of food and beverage items.
- Assist in entering/placing orders for food and beverage items.
- Assist in ordering supplies for on-site Market.
- Manage the physical maintenance of the Shipping & Receiving office and services areas according to hotel standards.
- Receive, record, deliver and stock packages/inventory items
- Maintain inventory and conduct monthly inventory verification.
- Maintain security procedures over physical items.

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Good working knowledge of the fundamentals of Shipping and Receiving.
- Good working knowledge of Food and Beverage Department within Hospitality.
- Ability to keep accurate records.
- Basic mathematical skills necessary to understand requisition amounts, and inventory tracking.
- Ability to read, write and speak the English language in order to complete requisitions and communicate with guests and other employees.
- Sufficient manual dexterity of hands in order to unload and store orders.
- Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry, or otherwise, move or push goods on a hand cart/truck weighing a maximum of 200 lbs.
- Ability to work in confined spaces.
- Ability to perform within extreme temperature ranges (Refrigerators and Freezers).
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or any other combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the functions of the job. Culinary or apprenticeship program preferred.
Licenses or certificates:
Ability to obtain any government required licenses or certificates.
Training and Experience:
Shipping and Receiving experience preferred.

Environmental Conditions:

- Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.
