Job Overview :
The DoubleTree by Hilton in Downtown Portland is seeking a dedicated and energetic Morning Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about coffee, customer service, and creating a welcoming environment for our guests. This role involves preparing high-quality beverages, maintaining the cleanliness of the coffee shop, and providing exceptional service to our guests during the morning shift.
Key Responsibilities :
- Beverage Preparation :
Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and smoothies.
Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service.
Operate and maintain coffee-making equipment, ensuring it is clean and in good working condition.
Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
Work closely with other staff members to ensure smooth operations during the shift.
Qualifications :
Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is preferred.
Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays.
