Security Guard - Overnight - Part time - Friday & Saturday

About Us:

The DoubleTree by Hilton Raleigh-Cary and Hilton Garden Inn Raleigh-Cary, off I-40 and I-440, are moments away from Crossroads Plaza mall, restaurants, and a movie theater. NC State University, Raleigh Convention Center, and Lenovo Center are within 15 minutes. Raleigh-Durham Airport is 20 minutes away. Both hotels feature outdoor patios, a restaurant and bar, and an indoor saltwater pool. The hotels are located at the corner of Columbus Avenue and Caitboo Avenue in Cary, NC.

The Role:

As a Security Guard, you’re not just patrolling – you’re creating an atmosphere of safety and comfort that allows our guests to have a great stay.

What You'll Do:

• Keep a watchful eye on the hotel premises, ensuring the safety and security of guests and staff.
• Conduct regular patrols and inspections to maintain a safe environment.
• Respond promptly to guest concerns and security requests with professionalism and a friendly demeanor.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
• Assist with lost and found inquiries and ensure the safekeeping of lost items.
• Embrace our commitment to safety by participating in regular safety training.
• Maintain an approachable and friendly presence that encourages guests to feel safe and at ease.

Your Skills and Style:

• Your commitment to safety is unwavering – you take your role as a guardian seriously.
• Friendliness and approachability are your trademarks – you know how to make guests feel comfortable.
• Previous security experience is preferred but not mandatory; we welcome candidates with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Strong communication skills ensure that you can handle any situation with poise.
• You're physically fit and capable of patrolling the hotel grounds.
• A flexible schedule is your ally, as you will be needed on weekends and holidays. This is an overnight position. Hours: 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
