Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Take customer orders and provide exceptional customer service
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and preparation
- Assist with food preparation, such as making sandwiches or pastries
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in cashiering or retail is preferred
- Strong math skills, including the ability to handle cash transactions and perform retail math calculations
- Knowledge of basic math for measuring ingredients and calculating recipe proportions
- Familiarity with food handling and safety practices in the food industry
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
